Özet:

As the geological events that occured in the ancient times had important effects for ancient buildings and cities, Geoarchaeology became one of the important multidisciplinary sciences in this area. Using geological methods in archaeological surveys and excavations provides a much better understanding for history. Today, by using technology such as remote sensing and GIS systems, archaeological researches became much more easier are so easy than the past investigations. In this study, Phaselis, Andriake and Patara ancient cities were surveyed. Also, these ancient cities had been studied by the help of satellite images. Ancient coastlines and modern coastlines were compared with each other.
